2015-02 Computing for SKA Colloquium Print
February 2015
The New Zealand SKA design team will hold a conference open to the public on 12 and 13 February at AUT in Auckland city. Apart from design team members speaking in this conference, many world class scientists and engineers coming from overseas will be in the event as well.  People in the computing industry will be there and not just astronomy people.  So the event is rightly named as Computing for SKA Colloquium 2015.

Compucon will speak in this conference about our HPC citizen scientist community, the technologies being developed, and the ecosystem to be built.  The topic is entitled 'Spinning SKA Design Efforts to NZ Industries'. This speech can be considered as the 1st official announcement to the world (not just New Zealand as the world will be watching this conference) about our team and the agenda being discussed in the web forum.  We would like to invite you to join this event and to meet the important people there.
